A few of the reasons that justify the introduction of automation are the big quantities of components, quality requirements and provisions regarding the working safety. In the fully automated system we focus on the security, energy consumption and easy maintenance; in the semi automation among our priorities is also included the ergonomics and comfort for the production equipment advantage.
The essential reason in choosing the degree of automation is the cost/profit report.
It is made a comparison between the automation duration of a semi or fully automated system and the equipments costs in locations with more favourable salaries; among other things the decision also depends on the life cycle of product. In various branches of our activities, the life cycles are very different. From this reason it is imposed the attraction of such criteria in taking the decisions.
