Product life cycle

An important element in the production planning of a company is the life cycle of product through which the different phases of the production process may be greatly influenced.

We develop production concepts that treat in detail the requirements of each phase during the production process. One of our primary objectives is the optimal use of the production capacities, with the goal to obtain a perfect relation between the management expenses and the quantity of a product.

The life circuit respectively the life of a product on the market, as a life cycle of a product may be divided in six stages: development, growing, maturity, saturation, regress, out of use/subsequent return.

In the development stage it takes place the introduction of the product on the market, next it follows the growing stage that brings a slightly increase of the flow which in the maturity stage will reach the culminant point. In the saturation stage, the product growing on the market stagnates while in regression stage the flow decreases more and more. In the out of use /subsequent return stage it keeps a low level of pending if the product is not out from the market.

Our solutions

In all the economy fields we can notice that the development and growing stages of the products are decreasing more and more. This phenomenon seldom leads to the effect according to which the replacement products already appear on the market while the precursory products are functional. On this way the products suffer an ageing independent on their physical state.
Subsequent return is the most difficult stage: the product does not bring any income but produces great costs that seldom exceed the income level.
We have specialized with a wide range of services in order to supervise the “end of life” of the products in their saturation and subsequent return stages.
Our solutions are based on the principle of external plants, in any case with the transfer of competences, which exceed by far the classic model.
Our out of use stage management is our so called external plant. In every point of the life cycle of the product the client has to be provided with the chance to come in or out – according to individual requirements.

Decreasing contribution for covering the expenses

Together with the regress of the quantities in the regression stage, it also decreases the contribution to cover the expenses on square meter of production and deposit surface.

Parallel with the problems that grow worse in the subsequent return stage, we provide through our concept a possible reduction of the production equipment operation – in connection with individual needs of the client.

Insuring of the quality level

Even in the case of decreasing of the products quantities, it has to be insured the quality level of productions. The product and quality documentation, management of the control means and reclamations processing are an example for the expensive working stages if we consider the products quantities that are decreasing.

We take over the entire documentation as well as all the responsibilities related to this. Within our external production plant we reduce the control means and we implement the economy measures to their management.

Obligation of subsequent delivery

In the subsequent return stage there remain in force, partially even over the years, obligations like warranty services, supplying with spear parts, subsequent taking over and taking over of the old products.

We take care of these obligations and we adapt the subsequent deliveries to the decreasing production.

High tech production equipments

The production equipments resulted from the maturity stage of a product, are too high equipped in order to be proper for the production of some smaller lots.

Together with you we develop and realize a concept that reacts to this problem of the exceeding capacities. We will adapt the production equipment to some smaller lots and to some more and more reduced quantities.

The occupied production surface

The high tech and already outsized production equipment in connection with the product requirements, occupies valuable production surfaces that could be used for example for the replacing product.

We do not reduce only the production equipment operation there where it was installed, but we also completely transfer it so that through our taking over to be insured the subsequent return stage of the product.

Organizing the procured components parts

In the subsequent return stage the organization of the procured components parts is more difficult. The lot quantities used partially are not available anymore; the minimum purchased quantities are enough for several years and block in some conditions valuable storing surfaces.

We reorganize the procurement of the components parts adapting it according to the changed conditions.
